CATARSIS® Catalyst Systems

Our method for gas flow is new science that offer much better usage of the material. Therefore the catalysts are smaller in size and the cost is reduced.

Conventional flow

In a conventional substrate the channels are smooth and the gas flows laminar.

The ECO-flow generates two counter circulating screws along the channels which gives much higher heat and mass transfer rate. It gives also more favorable relation between the pressure drop and heat and mass transfer rate than for laminar flow.

The substrates consists of a flat corrugated foil which are joined by the means of a "tongue-and-groove" system. The flat foil is stretched hard when it is pressed together with the corrugated foil. This gives a stable and strong matrix that are self-locked.

To create the channel design the thin metal foil is run through rolls with extreme precision.
